ARCHITECHTURAL BENEFITS
1, The machine room required in the hydraulic elevator
can be placed any where around the elevator shaft within
the area of 20’ ft. and that also on the ground floor .
2, There is no need to build a lift shaft for a
hydraulic as required in the traction system because the
machine room is in the bottom and also there is no
machine on the head so only one single wall is required
for taking Point Load of the elevator.
3, As the elevator is designed in such a manner the load
of the elevator will not be on the building and the
building is free from vertical load as it will be
totally on the cylinder of the system this does not
effect the load bearing capacity of the building .
TECHNOLOGICAL BENIFITS
1, Power Consumption in a Hydraulic elevator is always
less than the power consumed in the traction elevator
system as the motor H.P. is reduced in some cases in
Hydraulic System and also the power is consumed only up
direction and the lift comes down on self weight in the
down direction .
2, In case of Power failure there are built-in safety
devices and also some specially designed devices that
will bring the elevator to the ground floor without and
hassles like traction system generally have.
3, The maximum speed available in India for Hydraulic
elevator is 1Mtr. / Second which is quite suitable for
current working style of the Traction elevators .
4, The riding comfort available in Hydraulic Elevator is
quite better that the traction system after long time
use of the Elevator as there are many less maintainable
parts in a Hydraulic Elevator which will increase the
overall life of the elevator .
5, In passenger system the valves and pumps used by us
are of world’s finest quality used all over the world
this provides smooth riding comfort and less
maintenance.
COST SAVINGS
1, As discussed earlier in our Technological Benefits
the motor H.P. is less in comparison of Traction Lift in
some cases and also Power is consumed only in up
direction so the Power Saving in this will provide a
handsome amount of cost saving in energy bill.
2, As discussed earlier in our Architectural Benefits
the machine room is not required at the top of the
elevator shaft can be made of only partition wall which
will not require shaft of RCC so this will drastically
reduce your construction cost and also the machine room
required at the bottom level will need very less area.
